Greetings Griffin families. It was a pleasure to meet so many parents last Thursday evening during our orientation evening. We hope those of you able to attend enjoyed meeting your child’s teachers and learning more about the many clubs and activities happening at Ernest Manning.  As a complement to the detailed information found on the EMHS website, we present the weekly rundown.

Work Experience / Dual Credit

Work experience and dual credit programs are great opportunities for students to blend credits from the world of work and their other high school courses. Work experience allows students to receive credits for hours worked at a part-time job or volunteering. Dual credit programs assist students in making meaningful transitions to post-secondary education or the workplace.

Language Course Challenge

Grade 12 students interested in participating in the fall round of the Language Course Challenge please attend the information meeting on Thursday, October 3 in the Learning Commons at lunch. Students must hand in permission forms to the office by Oct 11.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Our first parent teacher conferences of 2024/25 will take place on October 24 and 25.

Thursday October 24- 5-8 pm in person

Friday October 25 9am to 12 pm virtually 

Conference manager bookings will open Tuesday, October 15 at 3 pm

Bike Lockup Safety
