Music
The Music program offers students the opportunity to grow as musicians, performers, and collaborators while being part of a vibrant and welcoming community. Whether students are playing in band, jazz, strings, or developing individual instrumental skills, they will build strong technique, confidence, and creativity through hands-on learning and live performance. Music students experience much more than rehearsals—they perform on stage, travel, work as a team, and create lasting memories with friends who share their passion. Band 15
Prerequisite Recommendation: Band 9 or Teacher Recommendation

Whether you’re continuing your musical journey or returning to your instrument, this course focuses on growing your confidence, musicianship, and teamwork. High school band is about more than just music—it’s about performances, trips, new experiences, and unforgettable memories with friends. Band 15 is taken alongside Instrumental Music 10, giving you the perfect balance of skill-building and ensemble performance so you can grow as a musician while making amazing music with your crew. Band 25

From concerts and festivals to school performances and travel opportunities, you’ll experience what it’s like to be part of a high-level performing group. Band 25 is designed to be taken alongside Instrumental Music 20—one sharpens your technique, the other lets you showcase it. Together, they create a powerful musical experience that pushes you to grow, perform, and shine. Enrollment in Music 20 includes Band 25 and I.M 20.
Band 35

Band 35 brings together everything you’ve learned as you perform exciting repertoire, work as a tight-knit ensemble, and create lasting memories on and off the stage. As a senior musician, you’ll lead by example, inspire others, and celebrate your musical journey with an incredible group of friends. Taken alongside Instrumental Music 30, Band 35 offers the ultimate final-year music experience and the perfect way to finish strong. Enrollment in Music 30 includes Band 35 and I.M 30.
Instrumental Music 10

Jazz Studies 15

Jump into the World of Jazz. Jazz 15 introduces you to one of the most exciting and expressive music styles in the world. Building on skills from Instrumental Music 10, this course explores improvisation, groove, and ensemble playing while helping you discover your own musical voice. You’ll experiment, take creative risks, and perform jazz music in a fun, supportive setting. If you’re ready to try something new and step into the spotlight, Jazz 15 is the perfect place to start. This is a year-long course offered in the AM J Block.
Jazz Studies 25
