This locally developed course is offered at the 15, 25 and 35 level. This course is designed for students who have an Individual Program Plan (IPP).
Learning Strategies 15/25/35 (5 credits)
Curriculum is organized to assist students in becoming actively involved in their learning. Modules of completion lead students to take greater responsibility for homework, develop planning skills, study skills and learn how to evaluate their learning process. It includes developing an understanding of themselves as learners, increasing their ability to become organized, managing human and material resources, planning long - and short - term goals, and practicing self advocacy skills. In this course, students may earn 5 credits.
