As this week was a short one there will be only a few updates to the Weekly this time around. It’s a gorgeous fall day and we are grateful to return to regular classes, clubs and athletics including fall football. We wish our Senior Boys all the best as they kickoff at Hellard Field this afternoon against Lethbridge for the Provincial Quarterfinals. If you feel like donning your Manning Blue and Gold please feel free to join us at 1 pm.
As a complement to the detailed information found on the EMHS website, we present the weekly rundown.

While most courses are a full semester-long, we will nonetheless have report cards associated with all courses, so parents have opportunities to consult with teachers on their child’s current progress through Parent-Teacher conferences. In addition, given that January Diploma Exams are cancelled this year (see below for details), instruction will continue through January to the end of the Semester.
PARENT-TEACHER
We look forward to the next opportunity to host our families during Parent Teacher Conferences:
Thursday, November 27 – 5-8 pm IN-PERSON
Friday, November 28 – 9 am – noon ONLINE through MS TEAMS
To book appointments with your child’s teachers, the Conference Manager will be open on Friday, November 14, starting at 4 pm.
Please log into your MyCBE Parent Account: https://sis.cbe.ab.ca/public/home.html and click on the “Book and Manage Meeting Times” box. Appointments will be necessary for both in-person and virtual meetings.
Members of the administration team, as well as student services, will be available both days should a specific meeting be required.
If you would benefit from a translator for Parent Teacher Conferences, please reach out to Ms. Roussy to coordinate.
