As the weather becomes gradually warmer, students are beginning to ride bikes to school in greater numbers. We would like to encourage everyone to keep their bikes secure. For information on bicycle safety, please consult this article from Bike Calgary.

Summer School Registration
Did you know that Ernest Manning is a Summer School site? Your child can take one course during the month of July, either online or in-person. If you would like to upgrade, or get a semester ahead on a core course, consider registering for summer school using this form. If you have any questions about summer school, please reach out to your child’s student advisor.
Student Police Academy
On Wednesday, May 14, grades 11 and 12 students interested in policing will learn hands-on the role of a police officer. More information can be found on the application form. Forms can be emailed directly to studentpoliceacademy@calgarypolice.ca. The deadline for application in Monday, April 21.

Ernest Manning Students Taking Diploma Courses Elsewhere
If your child is currently taking a Diploma Course at another institution, please indicate his/her June Diploma Exam writing location preference by filling out this form. We will register students wishing to take diplomas at Ernest Manning. If students are re-taking a diploma course, we will connect with students to pay the rewrite fee.
Grad 2025 Updates
Please purchase your banquet tickets before Tuesday April 22 at 5 pm as they will no longer be on sale after that day/ time - no exceptions.
The Spring Flower Grad Fundraiser is happening now! We have planters, hangers, flowers, veggies, etc available for sale. Orders need to be in by April 23. Pick up will be at EMHS afterschool on May 8.

Visual and Performing Arts Performing Arts Night
Event Details: Date: April 23, 2025
Time: 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: Ernest Manning High School
Leadership in the Arts students invite the entire Ernest Manning community to their upcoming Visual and Performing Arts Night Celebration. This event will showcase the Visual and Performing Arts students' hard work and dedication to the arts and creative process. Students have prepared a variety of art pieces, films, performances, and songs that beautifully showcase the excellence of our fine arts program. We also welcome you to participate in our silent auction and cheque-writing campaign. Your support will directly impact the Visual and Performing Arts Night.

OFF-CAMPUS EDUCATION
Did you know?
All CBE students may choose to attend the Career & Technology Centre (CTC) for part of the day, regardless of which high school they attend. The CTC provides continuous access to academic, industry-standard programs, certificated journeyperson instructors, facilities and equipment for students seeking credentials in skilled occupations. As part of their high school timetable, students may choose to access introductory, intermediate, and advanced or credential level programs.
If you're interested in taking two classes at the CT Centre (located beside Central Memorial High School) next year, please see your Student Advisor as soon as possible.
