Ernest Manning Weekly Rundown

Apr. 28 - May. 02

Greetings Griffin Families,

Hard to believe that this edition of the Weekly Rundown includes the word “May” but in fact we are a little over a month away from the end of regular classes. Sprint to the finish folks and a lot of great opportunities and events for students to finish strong academically, socially and in their extra-curriculars.

As the weather becomes gradually warmer, students are beginning to ride bikes to school in greater numbers. We would like to encourage everyone to keep their bikes secure. For information on bicycle safety, please consult this article from Bike Calgary, particulary regarding anti-theft locks.

As a complement to all of the detailed information available on the Ernest Manning High School website, here is this week’s rundown.

OFF-CAMPUS EDUCATION

Did you know?

All CBE students may choose to attend the Career & Technology Centre (CTC) for part of the day, regardless of which high school they attend. As part of their high school timetable, students may choose to access introductory, intermediate, and advanced or credential level programs.

If you're interested in taking two classes at the CT Centre (located beside Central Memorial High School) next year, please see your Student Advisor as soon as possible.
